Martin Luther King Jr

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Dr. King inspired people. He made them feel brave and strong and made them believe they could make a change. It can be hard for one person to change the world on his own, but when many people work together, they can make a big difference!

Ms. Alderks and Mrs. Throckmorton's students created art using Martin Luther King's words that inspired them.

Westside Wildcat Hero of the Week

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Westside's Librarian, Lisa Erickson, is our Westside Wildcats Hero of the Week.  Mrs. Erickson loves each and every student at our school. Not only does she know every student's name, but she has also taken the time to learn a little bit about them.  She buys the best books for Westside students and teachers.  She even provides Mrs. Pruitt with a new book to read each week. Thank you Mrs. Erickson for being a hero to us all!
