GAINS
Rob Marsden, GAINS K-6 Music Integration Curriculum Coordinator, has been providing workshops to our teachers. His focus was music this year. In Mrs. Haymond's second grade class, Mr. Marsden conducted a fun activity about stories and telling a story through music. The students enjoyed it and sang the song for days afterwards.
We are fortunate and appreciate that the Nebo School District provides this training to teachers.

Guest Speaker on Ecosystems
The sixth grade classes were honored to have a guest speaker come teach about ecosystems. The speaker was Dr. Loreen Allphin who is a professor at Brigham Young University in Plant and Wildlife Sciences. She gave a great overview of ecosystems including food chains, relationships of organisms, human impact on ecosystems, plus much more. We were so happy to learn from an expert in this field. We were lucky to have her. She is the sister of Mrs. Crook, one of the sixth grade teachers.
Springville High School Interns
We are fortunate to be partners with Springviile High School's Intern program. This is Rachel, working in Mrs. Harrison's class.
