Wildcats,
Yesterday, Governor Herbert announced that our "At Home Learning" will continue throughout the end of the school year. This means the school will continue to provide resources for families to keep their students up to date with their education, but students will not return to school. Westside faculty and staff are disheartened at the news and wish there some way we could be together. However, we do understand that the health and safety of our students is the most important thing. We also understand that this is hard on everyone and hope that you will find the good that can come during hard. One day, we will look back at this time and laugh and maybe even cry, but we will know that we were strong and resilient.
Please, remember that the work we are providing for students is to help them keep some kind of normalcy. If it becomes overwhelming just do the best you can. The last thing we want is for school work to become a family fight or an emotional hardship but to keep a connection.
Thank you for all of your support and positive feedback. We will let you know when we will be having you return Chromebooks and pickup personal items. Remember we are here for you. Call the school if we can help in anyway. We love you and are so proud of you.

Ayer, el gobernador Herbert anunció que nuestro "Aprendizaje en el hogar" continuará durante el final del año escolar. Esto significa que la escuela continuará proporcionando recursos para que las familias mantengan a sus estudiantes actualizados con su educación, pero los estudiantes no volverán a la escuela. Todos los empleados de Westside están desanimados por las noticias y desean estar juntos con nuestros estudiantes. Sin embargo, entendemos que la salud y la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es lo más importante. También entendemos que esto es difícil para todos y esperamos que encuentren lo bueno durante las dificultades. Por favor, recuerde que el trabajo que estamos proporcionando a los estudiantes es para ayudarlos a mantener algún tipo de normalidad. Si se vuelve abrumador, haz lo mejor que puedas. Lo último que queremos es que el trabajo escolar se convierta en una pelea familiar o una dificultad emocional. Solo queremos mantener una conexión.
