Spanish speaking authors Maricela Loaeza, Paz and Rosario visited our school on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019. Mrs. Loaeza is the author of “Pececito”. Pececito is a book about a boy and a fish who converse about their  lives and how important the environment is to each of them. It is a book that leaves you caring more about the environment we live in. It is written in English and Spanish. The author was able to give a few copies to students and teachers during her visit.   For many students  this was the first time meeting a Spanish speaking author. Students were also able to ask questions and interact with the authors in their second language, Spanish.
