The theme for the PTA fundraiser this year is "Hear Us Roar!" The primary focus of this fundraiser is to increase school spirit and school pride. The PTA will use the money raised for programs like Watch DOGS and Parents & Pastries as well as replacing the PA system in the school's gym.
The fundraiser runs September 26 through October 5. Donations can be collected via envelopes sent home with students, or online at squareup.com/store/westside-pta. The goal is to raise $20 per student. Each grade that reaches their goal will participate in a lunchtime ice cream party and earn a special treat for their teachers! If all grades reach their goal, Mrs. Pruitt will be duct taped to the wall during a special assembly!

9/26 Kickoff assembly and donation envelopes sent home
10/1-10/5 Spirit Week
Monday--Animal Day (animal print or animals on clothing)
Wednesday--Team Spirit (wear a jersey/sports team shirt)
Thursday--School Spirit (wear Westside shirt or school colors--red and blue)
Friday--Inside Out/Backwards Clothes
10/3 Chalk Fest (3:30-7:00)
10/4 Obstacle course fun run
