Kindness at Westside

Submitted by lindsey.smith on

As a school, Westside is focusing on being kind and doing kind things for others. Teachers have spent time in class teaching lessons about empathy and caring and supporting others, and the student council came up with ideas for ways that kids can be kind to one another. Students have also started recording the nice things that others do for them, and each day Mrs. Pruitt recognizes some of those people during morning announcements. Way to take care of one another and focus on the good things that are happening Wildcats!

Last week the sixth graders of Westside put on the play 'Ella Einstein,' for the school and for their parents. Through acting, song, and scientific presentations the students were able to show some of what they have learned this year in science. Excellent job sixth graders!
