First Grade Program

Yesterday the first graders presented a wonderful program all about their favorite books and storybook characters. They recited poems and sang songs about the book Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom, Dr. Seuss, and Frog and Toad. Thank you for sharing your talents first graders! 

Thursday, March 22 - Kindergarten Pre-Registration

Don't forget that Thursday, March 22 is 2018-2019 Pre-Kindergarten Registration.

1. Complete the online portion of registration before coming to the school. http://westside.nebo.edu/registration.

2. Bring the following items to the office: birth certificate, immunizations, 2 forms of proof of residency, and if interested, the application for Spanish Dual Immersion. 

Computers and translators will be available in the office to assist on March 22 between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

 

2018-2019 Kindergarten Pre-Registration

All children who are 5 years old before September 1 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Online Pre-Registration will begin Monday, March 12. Please go to our webpage at http://westside.nebo.edu/registration#kpre. Complete the online portion of Aspire/SIS. 

After you have completed the online portion of the registration, please come to the school on Thursday, March 22 and submit the following required documents between the hours of 7:30 am  - 4:00 pm.

Dr. Seuss Week

At Westside we are loving Dr. Seuss week! Today our wonderful principal, Mrs. Pruitt, took time to read books to classes, helping them foster a love for literacy and enjoy this fun week!

Sixth Grade Planetarium Field Trip

On Friday the sixth grade students went on a field trip to Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City. While there they were able to explore interactive exhibits and then visit the dome theater where they watched a presentation about constellations and a film about Saturn. The students loved seeing and learning more about topics that they learned about earlier this year!
