It's a big day at Westside tomorrow! We get to welcome our Kindergarten students! Westside Elementary Community & PTA is having a "Boo-Hoo Brunch" for Kindergarten parents!
Westside Elementary School Community Council Candidate Form Serving on the School Community Council Serving on our School Community Council is a wonderful way for parents and teachers to contribute and help improve academic performance at our school. The school receives an annual dividend from the school trust lands. Our council decides how these funds will be used. This year our school received $_82,000__ from the School LAND Trust Program. The council reviews and prepares other academic plans for our students each year. All plans are reviewed for final approval by our school board.
Westside has 2 positions available. If you are interested in serving on the Council, please fill out an application. You will find the application on the SCC tab on the website. Please return the application by Friday, September 24.
August 18 is the first day of school for 1st - 5th grades! School starts at 9:15 and ends at 3:30.

Michelle Mesinar is our new secretary. Mrs. Mesinar has been our Librarian and Title One Technician. She has been doing a great job this summer! Mrs. Rothaug is now working at the district office. We appreciate all she has done for many years at Westside. We will miss her!
