Mrs. Herrmann's 5th grade class performed a Boston Tea Party play for the 5th grade dual immersion classes. They even threw a colonist (Landon) overboard for trying to steal some of the tea.
During 5th grade math enrichment rotations, each student got a fraction sticker to wear. They went around the room to other students and multiplied their fraction with other student's fractions. Of course, they had to simplify them too. Mrs. Herrmann was the "bonus" fraction because her sticker was a mixed number.
Mrs Hansen’s classes love ice cream! They went over their read-a-thon goal!
Kindergarten had a visit from a Rock Expert - Nana D. We had a great time learning about the rocks she has collected and how she polished them. She even gave each kindergarten student baggies with small rocks that she had polished. Thank you Nana D for sharing your knowledge with us.
When your teacher gets married and comes to school, you do a receiving line with flowers and say goodbye with bubbles!
Congratulations To Mr. and Mrs. Richey!
Ryker, in Mrs. Olesen's class, built a dinosaur that the class read about in a book by using pattern blocks.
