STEM Magician

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Westside wildcats third, fourth and fifth graders enjoyed learning about Science. Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with the fabulous STEM magician.  In an entertaining and fun presentation students learned about Aristotle and how STEM has made  our world a better place.  They even received a call from Alexander Graham Bell.

It is time once again, for our annual Chalk Fest coming up September 19 from 3-7pm! Chalk Fest is such a wonderful family event where a $20 donation gives you a box of chalk and a space of sidewalk to do your artwork! We love seeing what everyone comes up with each year. Come show off your artistic side and enjoy the fun and prizes! The funds raised from Chalk Fest go toward beneficial programs/activities, updated technology & supplies and even a little extra fun for our students!

Dental Varnishing: Wednesday, September 21

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Dental varnishing will be provided next week on Wednesday, September 21st, from 9:20-10:20am in the gym for every grade except 4th grade, and then from 1:20-1:45pm in the 1st/2nd grade vestibule for the afternoon kindergarteners and 4th grade.

In order to get their teeth varnished, students will need to have the permission slip filled out and signed by their parent/guardian saying that yes, they can get their teeth varnished. Otherwise, we cannot varnish their teeth without that permission slip filled out and signed by parents.
