Our Psychologist, Kimmie Guymon, visited classes to talk about personal connections with others. She read "The Invisible String." Afterwards, a ball of yarn was tossed to each person in the class connecting us. The book's message is that no one is ever alone even when their loved one is not physically present.

Flashlight Reading

Mrs. Lane's class was able to earn Flashlight Friday. Students worked up to thirty minutes of reading stamina. Each Friday they will be able to read with flashlights!

Chalk fest was amazing! We have so much talent and creativity in our community. Everyone had a great time. Westside Elementary Community & PTA did a fabulous job!  We also met our 2nd level goal!
