Sub for Santa is a temporary Christmas assistance program that matches sponsors with families looking for help. The program provides gifts for children between 18 months and 16 years of age. In order to be considered for Sub for Santa, a family must have at least one child between these ages. Children younger and older can qualify if they have another sibling that falls in the 18 month to 16 year age range.

Claudia Jensen, Pamela Knowles, Jennell Arce, Megan Lockhart, Emma Olson, and Sarah Liechty  were recognized and celebrated by their colleagues.

Mrs. Olson's third grade class won the Spirit Day Contest last week.

Westside wildcats third, fourth and fifth graders enjoyed learning about Science. Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with the fabulous STEM magician.  In an entertaining and fun presentation students learned about Aristotle and how STEM has made  our world a better place.  They even received a call from Alexander Graham Bell.

Kindergarten students visited the fire station, police station, library, and post office to learn about our community helpers. A huge thank you to our wonderful community helpers for allowing us to come and learn all about what they do for us!

Cristy Bird, one of our amazing former teachers and parent to 3 of our former students, is fighting cancer. We  want her to know how very much we love and want to support her and her family. #teamcristy

Mr. Brace’s Third Grade Class won the Spirit Day Contest last week!

These students received Champion Notes for awesome behavior and got to put their names on the ROAR board. We are proud of our Champions!
