Random Acts of Kindness Day (RAK)

Students & teachers were asked to complete random acts of kindness all day. A banner was set up in the hall by the lunch room, where students & teachers used post-it notes to give shout outs to someone who completed a RAK for them on this day!

Huge thank you to Mrs. Arroyo for making the awesome poster!

Red Ribbon Week Oct 28 - Nov 1

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Monday (Oct. 28)-Everyone is unique and has a name:  Everyone is unique, special, and matters.  Students/Teachers will be encouraged to start the day by wearing name tags.  (We will provide those for everyone). They will be asked to wear the name tags all day.  We will make it a point to greet everyone by their name, especially those who do not usually get addresses.

GAINS

4th Grade DLI had the opportunity to be creative with oil pastels.  They learned about fossils and dinosaurs.  They were also able to paint a dinosaur's eye! The students did a fabulous job.  Thank you Mrs. Palmer for coming to teach us.
