Victory Bell Celebrations

Submitted by arlene.haymond on Wed, 05/18/2022 - 14:26

We have a Victory Bell in our office. When students meet or exceed a reading goal that they have set, they have a little celebration in the office with Ms. Nielson, teachers, and others in the office.  Here are some of our fifth grade students celebrating their achievements at meeting or exceeding their Acadience reading goals through hard work this year!  Our fifth graders celebrated significant growth in meeting their goals. Congratulations to all!

Our Senior Grandmas that help with the Spanish 1st and 3rd grade classes from the Grandparent Program. This is Julian Ramos in Mrs. Bates class and he waits for the daycare bus everyday as well. They have formed a special bond everyday for a while now and they chat and have a good time everyday as they speak to one another in  English and Spanish.

Fourth Grade Field Trip to Camp Floyd

Submitted by arlene.haymond on Wed, 05/11/2022 - 14:32

Our fourth graders  went to Camp Floyd State Park and learned some Utah history including about how settlers lived when they first came to Utah.  We made candles and bricks, visited an old inn and schoolhouse, learned about the militia and pony express, and had a great time! Here are some photos of Mrs. Boyer's Class at Camp Floyd.
