Crystal Apple Awarded to Alexandra Diaz!

Teachers from Westside Elementary voted one of their colleagues, Alexandra Diaz, to receive the Crystal Apple Award.

Alexandra Diaz is a first grade Spanish Teacher at our school. She is known for being high spirited and fun. She has an immense amount of energy that transfers easily into her classroom and her teaching. She is passionate about each one of her students and takes their learning personally. It is amazing to walk into her classroom and hear her talking with her students in Spanish and them responding right back. Alexandra is a positive leader as our Dual Immersion Team Lead and in other leadership positions. She takes her expertise and shares her knowledge with others. She is caring, kind, hardworking, funny, and always dressed in her nicest high-heel-shoes. Alexandra is an asset to Westside Elementary.
