Jan Carter, Classified Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Jan Carter for being our Classified Employee of the Year during this unprecedented time!  This special award is voted on by her peers.  Jan's award is well deserved. Here are some comments about Jan from our staff:

• Jan is one of the hardest working people we have on staff. She is kind and caring with everyone she comes in contact with. Jan takes pride in her work and never leaves a detail to chance. She is part of our Westside family

• Jan is the most amazing employee and person there is. It doesn’t matter what is going on in her life she shows up with a smile every day, and will do anything there is that needs to be done. Honestly I don’t know how this school would function without her. 

• I have known Jan since Junior High.  We have been through good times and mad times, and through thick and thin.  She is quiet and kind.  A fun, dedicated and loyal friend. She is calm and even tempered. Jan is dependable, dedicated and an honest employee.  To know her is to love her.  She is such an awesome person in a small package.

• Jan goes out of her way to make sure our building is clean and safe for everyone who enters. She goes ot of her way to show kindness to everyone she meets. Westside Elementary and Jan Carter have been a team since the school was built. 

• My students know that Jan is a person who will help them with anything. She makes their day when she gets a chance to help.
