The week before school let out for the summer, students and teachers surprised Mrs. Matis with a farewell assembly. Under the direction of the facilitator Teresa Jordan, students learned a special song "Living in the Hall of Fame". The entire school also participated in an elaborately choreographed lip dub with a variety of songs. Everyone had fun putting this together.
On Tuesday, May 25th, the sixth grade students were treated to a fun day at the Provo Recreation Center. Although it rained for most of the day, students were still able to enjoy the indoor facilities such as the swimming pool, basketball courts and raquetball courts.
On May 22, Kindergarten students at Westside dressed in traditional graduation regalia to celebrate the transition from kindergarten on to first grade.
