Congratulations to our Performer of the Week, Hugo Thompson!
Hugo has been a strong leader in our organization, and in particular, an example of the tenacity and dedication it takes to achieve great musical performance. He shows his dedication in performance, in rehearsal, and in the practice room, and is always hungry for more musical experiences. Outside of his involvement in the Salem Hills Band Program, Hugo has also been a performing member of the Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band, a premiere independent performing group that travels the nation to perform. Bravo to Hugo for his musical accomplishments this year!

Congratulations to our Students of the Week!
Ruby Lindstrom: As a Sophomore, Ruby has been unstoppable in her weight class! She has won many tournaments this season beating top-level talent! Ruby avenged her earlier season losses to an opponent by beating her in the state finals and becoming a State Champion! Ruby is the definition of Skyhawk Strong!
Meghan Lemmons: All of Meghan's hard work has paid off with her performance at the state swim meet. She was able to acheive her best times and move up in the rankings!
Brett Johnson: Brett had been battling a hard cold these past two weeks which made it difficult to practice and keep up with school work. Brett was able to still do his best at the state swim meet.
Katie Parsons: Katie is a hard worker who inspires us with her dedication to Dance Company. If she is absent, she is quick to get with others and get caught up. She is also such a joy to be around, making every moment more fun and memorable. Her attention to detail and pursuit of choreography perfection is remarkable, and it shows in the amazing work she creates. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful person to work with!
