Fourth graders have had fun learning about the rights and responsibilities of citizens, including learning about the voting process. After writing campaign speeches and conducting primary elections, these four sets of president/ vice president pairs went on to represent their classes as the fourth grade presidential nominees. Congrats to all our candidates!

Sra. Yacolca's class had so much fun learning about "dia de los muertos" and talking about their loved ones.
Ms. Price's class learned about the importance of voting and how the voting process works. They had a mock election and are holding Class President elections next week.
Intermountain Healthcare’s mobile testing unit will be in Payson at the Wasatch Behavioral Health site. Utah County Health is not targeting specific zip codes or populations, all are welcome. Utah County Health does not require any documentation. See attached flyer.

Whereas, the vision, dedication, and determination of a school principal provides the stable force behind schools;
Whereas, principals have many roles in the education of their students and are entrusted with the dedication and development of young people; and,
Whereas, we recognize the outstanding elementary, middle level, and high school principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students;
Clark Planetarium generously donated an at-school field trip for the sixth graders at Westside. Because they couldn’t take a real field trip this year, they spent the day watching awesome videos from the planetarium’s dome theater as well as the IMAX, eating sack lunches outside, doing space art projects, and ended the day playing a class vs. class kickball game. Way to go sixth graders for making the best out of our unique situation this year.
