Westside Elementary’s sixth graders had the rare privilege of having the STEM bus (van) spend the day with them on April 19. Each of the four sixth grade classes had the opportunity to have a two hour class taught by the technology experts from the STEM Action Center. Two of the classes participated in robotics, one did video game design and the other did computer programming. The instructors not only provided all the supplies and technology that was needed, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful while the students learned through discovery.
