Mrs. Litchfield's students made posters with positive messages to hang around the school for Kindness Club.
Our Psychologist, Kimmie Guymon, visited classes to talk about personal connections with others. She read "The Invisible String." Afterwards, a ball of yarn was tossed to each person in the class connecting us. The book's message is that no one is ever alone even when their loved one is not physically present.
Mrs. Lane's class was able to earn Flashlight Friday. Students worked up to thirty minutes of reading stamina. Each Friday they will be able to read with flashlights!

Max Blazer is working on a 6th grade project challenging students to "Be a BUDDY not a bully."
Meet Andy Brace
The 6th graders participated in a STEM lesson where they learned about seasons. The lamps in the middle simulated the sun and there were four globes orbiting the sun simulating the earth in each of the four seasons. Students collected data regarding the amount of light reaching the solar panels on the Northern and Southern Hemispheres on each globe to determine which season each globe represented. It was a great lesson!
The fourth graders had some special guests come and give a presentation about Native Americans. We learned a lot about the amazing contributions Native Americans made to our society today!
