Teaching school is an extremely difficult profession with many ups and downs. The reason I am a teacher is because of the relationships I make with these awesome students. They are each unique individuals with challenges, strengths and weaknesses, yet despite all this, they can learn, grow and excel. The part I love most is seeing their faces as they explore, discover and enjoy learning. Susan Crook
#LoveTeaching Week is an opportunity to celebrate teaching, leading, and learning in a way that unites and invigorates educators and those they inspire all around the world. Some of our teachers want to share why they love teaching and who inspires them.
Mrs. Lanes's fourth graders and Mrs. Haymond's second graders created secret buddy handshakes. They were very creative.

These are our Spelling Bee Grade Level champions and Ben Boucher and Daniel Bowers, our school champs, who will go on to district. Congratulations to all our amazing students!
When students earn 10 Wildcat Cash (Respectful, Obey Rules, Appreciate, Responsible), they may exchange it for a token to use in our token tower, or write their name on the ROAR board. This month every student on the board received a special water bottle. We are so proud of students that earn Wildcat Cash!
Kindergarten Registration is Moving to Summer
Kindergarten registration, traditionally held in March, will be moved to the summer and combined with grades 1st -12th. More detailed information regarding summer registration for K-6th will be sent out to you before the end of the school year.
The Aquarium's presentation reinforced science objectives to introduce concepts about tropical rainforests. Students “traveled” across continents identified locations of tropical rainforests, observed live animals, and connected their ideas with evidence to make conclusions about how the animals survive in this vital ecosystem.
Mrs. Jackson and Ms. Jensen's second graders had a visit from the Loveland Living Plant Aquarium today! Students learned about rainforests and were able to meet some exciting creatures. They even got to touch a Rainbow Boa Constrictor!
