Do you ever wonder what teachers do at school after the kids leave?

Teachers in the Nebo Mentor Program meet once a month and collaborate on education, teaching, best practices, and more!  The December meeting was a little different!  We had a "Breakout EDU" activity. Teachers worked in teams to unlock locks to get to their locked up reward. It's an activity many teachers have used in their classrooms. The kits are provided by the Nebo School District. It was challenging, but working together, each team unlocked all the locks. 

Our 4th grade Dual Immersion classes have been learning about the ecosystems in Utah.  They really enjoyed the Ecosystem Box that the BYU Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum let them borrow.  These pictures show hands-on learning as we learn more about animals who live in Utah's ecosystems.
