Art Talks

Submitted by arlene.haymond on

Several of our classes were fortunate to have the Springville Art Museum Outreach Educators come to talk to us about the museum, art, and how to draw figures. Mrs. Hermann's and Mrs. Haymond's students posed and their partners sketched them. Everyone loved the experience!

"La goliza" is the title of a realistic fiction story, written by Francisco Hinojosa. Francisco Hinojosa was a poet, narrator and Mexican editor, a renown figure in the Spanish Literature world.  The 4th grade DLI class represented themselves by drawing symbols on their soccer jerseys. Students learned about soccer and the impact in the Latin culture.
